graphics 4/5
fun 4/5
playability 4/5
overall: 4/5
pros: Great educational theme
cons: Game gets a bit samesy after a while
"Oh no!" I thought as I started to play this game "they've tried to mix education and gaming, this just isn't going to work". The education part is that success in each level of the game is dependent upon you deciding which foods are healthy and which aren't. Catch the healthy foods in your bowl = good, catch the bad foods = bad.
The game itself looks really nice, with the cartoony Kung Fu master standing in the background cooking as you catch the food falling from the sky. The graphics between levels is nice as well & the nutritional information is presented in small, bite-sized pieces that aren't preachy at all.
The game also utilises several different game mechanics that inject fun in, things like 2x bonuses and collect-the-letters-to-build-words things. With all of these things added I actually found myself liking the game.

I will keep this one.
