pros: Nice graphics, rewarding gameplay
cons: Some of the enemies difficult to spot

Retro Fighter has some pretty good gameplay - it's quite rewarding blasting those bad guys & its easy to control. I like that at the start of the game it asks for your finger size, presumably this helps make the controls better suited to you.

The bad guys drop powerups that you can use & these seem fairly frequent, but this meant that I seemed to upgrade my ship to max pretty early and additional upgrades after that seemed to have little effect.

I was pleased that the levels changed gameplay a little into one where enemies were coming from all directions, this kept my interest for a bit longer, but not long enough to keep the app.

I won't keep this one.
