pros: Does a good job at introducing you to new words
cons: Graphics deviate from Apple standard for menus

This app takes you through a series of tutorials and quizzes, the object of which is to expand your vocabulary. Making a game out of something tends to make it easier to do, and so this is a fun-ish way of learning new words. I say 'fun-ish' because if you're not interested in words then it is actually pretty dull.

The developers have tried to be smart about the menus, having all the items fly in from off the screen, even on the standard configuration menus - this is just distracting & takes away from the app overall. When it does this during the quiz itself it just takes a few seconds off of your already limited time limit.

I certainly wouldn't pay the full purchase price of $4.99 for this, but as I got it for free...

I will keep this one.
